GENERAL SUMMARY: Develops, organizes, and conducts training and educational programs for customer personnel; works under general supervision; performs additional duties as assigned.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develops, tests, maintains, and delivers training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives;
2. Establishes course content and objectives;
3. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities;
4. Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness;
5. Updates course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance;
6. Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned;
7. Participates in special projects as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Typically requires 2-5 years of directly related military equipment training experience;
2. Bachelors Degree, military maintenance experience or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
3. Instructor Basic Course training / certificate.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of military training programs;
2. Knowledge of relevant software and computer equipment as required;
3. Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS: The work is typically performed in an office environment and at client site locations, which requires proper safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.
