Provide system engineering support on large-scale systems, major system elements, and/or interfacing systems. Provide overall system engineering expertise in the architecture, design, development, requirements analysis, data flow, network design and/or implementation or testing for the program. Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications. Develop detailed system architecture and system design documentation. Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Develop system configuration documentation, including detailed designs for capacity planning, security systems and disaster recovery. May perform engineering activities, including risk assessments and analyses of alternatives for a variety of system related issues and concerns. Interface with the following groups: software development, testing, integration, deployment, and sustainment. A Bachelors Degree in an appropriate field may be substituted for four years of experience; a Masters Degree may be substituted for six years of experience. Minimum three years with Intelligence Community or SIGINT activity. • Experience working in an Agile environment. • Minimum five years as a Systems Engineer in a technical role. • Experience in the following operating systems: Red Hat, Linux, UNIX, Solaris, and Windows. • Experience with Linux, UNIX, Solaris, and Windows utilities and techniques to diagnose and correct performance bottlenecks. • Experience in the following: o Design complex collection systems. o Experience in the following operating systems: Red Hat, Linux, UNIX, Solaris, and Windows. o Perform tradeoff studies. o Analyze system performance. o Reverse engineering and re-engineering. o Leading analysis of system requirements and components. o Performing system audits to ensure intended system functionality and operation and performance requirements are achieved. o Performing system analysis Some short term travel to include overseas locations may be required
